I've used Jarvis' x-o.co.uk and can recommend it. Degiro is also worth a look. It's sometimes more economical to sell then buy again as some platforms charge high fees to transfer the shares.0

I was about to comment on this. Looking at the email from hsd announcing the charges, it says you have until 2022 to decide if the account is right for you, but then scrolling down there is a table that says the new charges are from March 2021, suggesting the 2022 bill will be for the year that just passed.
Elsewhere I read that the fee will still be charged even if you hold no investments or cash, so it's important to completely close the account. Perhaps easier said than done as both the web chat and email forms seem to have disappeared.
I'm in the same boat. Considering HL. Might do a partial transfer to see how things go. My concern is, once hsd is 100% closed, will I get a final statement to keep my records straight (tax) and what about dividends from previous xd dates?0
