Dehumidifier advice - Meaco 20L LE vs Meaco 25L LE?

Hi there.
I have a serious problem with damp and, from the research I have done, Meaco seem to be the consistently recommended models (including Which? and Good Housekeeping).
I am happy to spend more for these models as they are going to be on a lot and seem cheaper to run.
I have narrowed things down to these two models, but cannot quite decide on which to go for:
Meaco 20L LE - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07XDZ6T9Y?tag=georiot-trd-21&th=1&psc=1&ascsubtag=idealhome-gb-1193872155360161000-21&geniuslink=true
Meaco 25L LE - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HO963A6/ref=emc_b_5_t?th=1
The first one seems to have the benefit of a Hepa filter, whereas the second seems to have a drying mode and a better DC motor.
Any advice on which to go for would be much appreciated.

Have you considered a PIV system?
What sort of property do you live in?
Have you investigated the source of the damp?1 -
Thanks for the reply - I live in a bungalow.
I had never heard of PIV and whilst I do think it is a great idea, I might consider this in years to come (depending on whether we convert our loft, which is something we might do in the future).
With regards to the damp, it is not really clear but the former owners (and neighbours) have always seemed to have damp problems with these bungalows.
Particularly bad is a room at the back, which never gets any sun and always seems to be colder than the other rooms in the house.0 -
Do you need 25l a day?
we have this one for a 2 bed flat which has 1 damp wall and it’s excellent

I think so, yes. It might be better to have something powerful that is on for less time.
We also have a shower that has no extractor fan so it will come in useful for that as well.0
