Special delivery of forms to PO Box

Thanks for all your help so far, we are now at the stage of sending the probate forms - including the original will and death certificate - to HMCTS. They have a PO box and state on the form to send by tracked/SD and to make sure that they will deliver to a PO box no. NOWHERE on the RM website do they mention this. I know they must get hundreds of docs delivered but how can I be sure? Anyone know please? I've googled and nothing appears and I have scoured every inch 9or so it feels) of the RM website to no avail!

I thought that would be the case JGB1955 but my elderly father is very twitchy about things getting lost - particularly the will. We are also intrigued as to why HMCTS keep the original will instead of returning it - again, can't find out any reason for that - except, perhaps 'because they do' - which begs the question 'why?' Anyway, thanks for replying0

To allay your father's fears why not get a certified copy of the will done before sending the original off?
The original will is kept because "once a grant of representation (probate) has been issued a will becomes a public document, which anyone can obtain a copy of. It's therefore important that the Probate Registry retains the original document so that copies can be made and (for example) any later queries about its authenticity or validity can be looked into."

I also sent to PO Box, Harlow by SD. Arrived next day and tracking was available. I have kept a photocopy of the original plus a scanned copy.0
