-taff said:. I often envy Nigellas little spring whisk, but I haven't succumbed to buying something just for eggs , well, not yet anyway. If the sun and moon and stars looking whisk is as good as the jar scraper things it's winner.Someone told me that they don't buy any kitchen gadget which only does one job, it has to earn it's place in the drawer or cupboard. It's quiet, cold and wet outside. I've swerved past the coffee stop as we don't need any more cake here yet.Rosy - rest up!

I have just watched an old black and white horror film which I enjoyed, starring Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee. It's a bit tame compared to today's horror.
I have fed the birds this morning I seem to be getting more and more of them, think they're spreading the word around that there's a soft touch at number ....Then I shall have a tidying up and putting away day. The top of the cooker needs a good clean too as himself dropped an egg on it instead of in the pan
He did wipe it up after a fashion, but I'll give it a good scrub as well. Tea will be tortellini with some of my hm tomato sauce and fresh baguette type bread, banana and ice cream for pud.
I can't crochet for toffee and my late DM did try often, but she managed to teach me how to knit well. I also remember her showing me how to do French knitting and making pom-poms. Hours were spent with me holding her wool as she wound it into balls, many years later I found the back of a chair does the same jobdp1 I used a warm salt water mouth wash as well as Corsodyl and anti b's after I had a really difficult tooth out which had left a gaping hole. Think dentist on the chest jobHope you feel better today.

I missed yesterday and again really late again today, the kitchen and utility area is in a complete pickle, the wet patch showing on brickwork at floor area is the result of a split or cracked dishwasher inlet hose. Our lovely builders fitted a call in as an emergency, whipped out the DW and put in it's place a very powerful dehumidifier and we are running our big E-bac as well, they are coming back on Monday and will mend the DW install a new stop tap, hopefully everything will have dried out enough to get us organised again, currently the vinyl flooring is folded back and kitchen activities are a bit tricky.
Sending hugs and spoons to all those in need and hopefully catch up with you all tomorrowThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)8 -
Nanny, I know that if I do his shelves he'll rearrange it all, so he might as well do it himself in the first place!!9
