Just received an email that says
"You have been selected as a winner on Day 1 of the VisitScotland ‘Treasures of Scotland’ competition.

Your prize includes 2 nights bed and breakfast at the MacDonald Holyrood Hotel, Edinburgh for 2 people with dinner on your arrival. (Drinks are not included). We will also reimburse your travel expenses up to the value of £200. "

    Not a bad location at all.

    Near Holyrood Palace, opposite Arthurs Seat, which you can walk up, across the road from Dynamic Earth. Very near the Scottish Parliament (concrete monstrosity and waste of money).

    15 minutes walk and you will be in Princes Street where you can spend all your money.
