Tenants' insurance for granny annexe

Options
Hello, I recently moved into a granny annexe/outbuilding of someone else's home in Scotland. On the paperwork I am under a Lodger Agreement as my landlord counts as a resident landlord. Cannily my landlord doesn't have to pay tax if my rent is under £625 a month (it's £625 exactly.) Anyway. I want to insure my belongings with contents insurance - do I get simple tenants contents insurance? The outbuilding doesn't have a separate address so I can't accurately fill in my details on the forms, like how many bedrooms/smoker/etc. Could anyone advise? Many thanks!

Is there access via the main property or just via your own front door?

Tenants insurance typically is low quality but not necessarily low price contents insurance.in most cases normal home contents is appropriate and better value
