Can't Login to Nectar account on Win 10 Laptop - Solved
I can still access Nectar via the phone app. Strangely, I tried an old outdated version of the Maxthon browser and this worked fine - but I don't really want to be using an insecure browser.

Yes, the same thing has just started happening to me. I've tried it with Chrome and Edge. On trying to use Firefox I got nothing other than an "accept cookies" message. Opera also fails but in a different way: with that I get a "There was a problem registering your nectar card" message.
I suspect that the web page is wanting to do something that is now being blocked by some security feature in the browsers or more likely windows 10.
I tried to report the problem to nectar's chat system but that didn't help and there is no email address to report faults.

Seem like they have screwed up, it doesn't work on FF,Edge, Chromium on linux here either.

Prompted me to try it - worked fine, FF on W10 - and found my Sainsbury's 2000 points from the comp back in Dec

Still not working on Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Can occasionally get onto Maxthon but the Capture security often throws up picture after picture and never wants to verify.Phoned Nectar a few days ago but the agent was completely useless. Didn't seem to understand the problem, basically said to just use the app, and cut me off when I told him that it was unacceptable to not be able to use a laptop to access my account.0

Still working fine here in fully up to date W10 using FF, Edge, IE, Opera & Chrome.

Working absolutely fine here from Firefox on www.nectar.com using W10 also on Chrome. Shouldn't matter about accepting cookies, but do check your browser security settings and any ad-blocker or pop-up blocker. Try turning these off in-turn as sometimes they will mess up sites. Also if you have disabled tracking cookies this can sometimes cause sites to fail so check this setting. If you are in Firefox go to the settings->privacy and security, then under Browser Privacy, select standard, rather than strict as the latter will cause some sites to break.

Well done! Switching off Adblock, Adblocker and Malwarebytes on Chrome and Firefox has done the trick. I can now access my Nectar account on both those browsers. It never occurred to me that that was causing the problem as I've always used those blockers and didn't have a problem until a few weeks ago. So something must have been changed to the security setup on the Nectar website. Just a pity that the logon process couldn't identify the issue and give a warning to disable adblockers like other sites do.Again, many thanks for your help.1
