Unarranged overdraft

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me. We went on an unarranged overdraft last week of £25. This was only because I forgot to transfer money from the savings. We have never used any overdrafts before and we have been managing our account well by paying all the bills on time. This was the first time it ever happened. We have been approved for a mortgage and waiting for the searches to be completed. I am worried if this will affect our mortgage and it will go on the credit file. This was sorted straight away as my husband got paid the same morning. Normally his money comes first and then that particular bill goes after that but for some reason the money that came in was a bit late. I am not sure if I am overreacting but I am really worried if this will affect our mortgage. Thanks.

If is was resolved the same day, it's unlikely to appear.0

It will only appear on you credit report if you were overdrawn when they report your account to the credit reference agencies. If you were overdrawn for a few hours before money went in then it won't get reported.1
