Powershop buyout

Can someone please tell me if E.oN is a good company? I'm  currently with Powershop UK who have sold out two them, which is a shame as I get fantastic savings. Thank you.

Are you sure things will change? Powershop used to be a standalone energy company within NPower. Yes, NPower is now part of the E.oN Group and its customers are being moved over to E.oN Next which isn’t E.oN per se. E.oN Next ‘is a new energy company with an innovative customer platform’ (bought/leased from Octopus Energy and known as Kraken). No one said this was going to be simple. 

Edit: Powershop is migrating to E.oN Next.

Yes, powershop customers are migrating to eon next at somepoint. It was too small a company to survive on it's own.

As for are eon (next) a good company. I dislike the direct contact with emails, such a bad idea from a security point of view (should anyone decide to spoof their emails). Bill should be there when you log in, emails should be notifications without a link.

Having been migrated there from npower for the last 6 months I have just left (they did not have a good price either).

Don’t forget that the Lite tariff you’ll be transferred to will be guaranteed at fixed Top Shopper rates at least until the end of April or when your tariff would normally end whichever is longer. This would give you time to see what Eon are like. It’s unlikely you can beat that elsewhere.
