I have just checked my Credit file with Clearscore and see a address in the same town that i live will be added next this month but i have never lived at that address or even know anyone that does.
so how could that happen and will it effect my credit score and how do i get it removed?
i am worried now that some has got hold on my details and using my details at that address.

raise it with the credit ref agencies1

Just raise a query and ask for an explanation where the link has come from as usually an address link only comes from a credit account or the electoral role

I had something similar earlier this year when I got a notice that a new address was going to be added to my file, but it turned out to just be the council updating my ER registration. If a new, unknown address is actually added then you'll need to complain to the CRAs and ask for it to be removed.
Also check your files with Experian and Equifax to see if the same info is being reported there as well.0
