    No consolation to you but my last 4 parcels from Amazon have been "Left with Receptionist"... I've no idea who (s)he is, who's paying her or when she works but so far one parcel was put through my letter box, two were left with random neighbours and the final one was left in the block of flats opposite's entrance hall. I dont think they're a very good receptionist.

    "Left with receptionist" must be next to "handed to resident" on the digital pod thing they use. I had one item from Amazon show that a while back.

    I don't have a receptionist, nor did I authorise the item to be given to the receptionist I don't have.

    Maybe I could order a receptionist on Amazon ... what would the tracking say then? Hmmm.

    You'd assume, but given they used it to cover "left with neighbour", "put through letterbox" and "left in hallway of random near by building" it must be next to a lot of options.

    I had one delivered last Thursday note said 'Left with the butler'!!!!!!!
    Absolutely no way, Thursday is his day off
