Faulty Amazon Returns Within 28 Days

Does a faulty Amazon purchase that fails within 28 days need to be returned in its original packaging,to obtain a full refund?

    Legally, no, but getting Amazon to accept it might be a different issue.

    Assuming we are talking about something like a kettle without the other box they should accept the item back.

    It would be best to place the item inside a plain box and then the shipping box with two copies of the warehouse barcode they supply, one taped to the plain box holding the product and one as per usual inside the box you use to ship the item back to them.

    I had a steam cleaner which proved to be faulty.  Amazon replaced it and asked me to return the first item in the new packaging.  All worked out fine.

    Normally faulty returns on Amazon are a breeze, particularly those within 30 days.

    Print the return label take to post office,Amazon will credit when booked into post office.
    Surely u dont believe Amazon check all. individual returns.
    I just returned a 6 months wok and payment was returned before i got back home.
