Halifax rewards - when is it payable?

When is it payable?
I upgrade mine in late Jan, quickly put £1500 in, and £500 out via debit card.
Got three green ticks that I'm eligible for the £5 for Jan.

    12th of each month
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?
  • 12/13/14th normally for me.

T&C's might tell you exactly when.

    Why 12th???

And in order for me to be eligible for Feb reward, is it base on calendar month or 12th or the day I upgrade?

    As that's what Halifax decided.
    It's based on calendar month.
It's paid on 12th or the next working day if 12th isn't a working day.

Because that's the date they chose for payments.

The eligibility period is a calendar month, with the exception of your first month, which runs from the date you join to the end of the joining month. www.halifax.co.uk/assets/pdf/bankaccounts/pdf/banking-offers-guide.pdf

Under the debit card option, no as it's cashback.

Under the £5,000 option, it's paid net of tax (gross reward is £6.25).

Wish I read into this earlier, missed out on 6 months of cashback.
Debit card option is way easier than then £5k option

And more money too. The £5k doesn't earn interest with Halifax so not only can you get £5/month from the debit card option, you can also get some interest (albeit it not much) by saving that money elsewhere in an account that is also earning interest.
