Allclear holiday insurance

No chance to suspend insurance.
Just contacted All clear to request a suspension of my wife's holiday insurance. Paid £1294 for an annual policy starting January 20th. Due to lockdown and covid we are unable to take any holidays due to my wife's underlying health issues.
Country in lockdown until god knows when. They refused point blank to suspend the policy until the lockdown ends the only option they gave us was to cancel the policy and loose £617, or take voucher for £774 and loose £520.
I do believe under these present condition of extradentary circumstances they could be a little more compassionate and understanding. But it seems as usual they are only interested in profit.

    How much profit do you think they are making with no buying insurance right now and lots of people are cancelling policies because no one has holidays plus having to pay out on all the claims for holidays cancelled/curtailed etc due to Covid?
