G42 charge incorrectly paid by my company - Fight to get it back

Hi Everyone,
I rent my car off my company and unfortunately this means any parking charges i receive go to them and they pay them and deduct them out of my salary before i get to see them!!
I now wish to try and get my money back for a charge i incurred whilst parking in a G42 ran sports direct car park. I am a member of the gym and the registration machine was out of order when i went in and now i've been unfairly hit with a £100 fine.

Please help advise what is should do!!??

Does your company have a Car Policy? If yes, what does it say (exactly) about Fines, Penalties, Charges etc.? If no, on what basis are they deducting charges from your salary?

As @Jenni_D  says, this matter is now between you and your employer.  The employer owns the car, and has chosen to pay the ticket rather than contest it.  You are more than likely contractually obliged to reimburse the employer, regardless of the circumstances leading up to the ticket's issue.  The parking company won't rescind it now it's been paid, so you'll need to check whether the employer has acted correctly by taking the money.  It probably has, knowing how these things work.
  • note that the policy by your company will most probably relate to "parking FINES" and road tolls , this is a ticket from a private parking CO , it is not a fine , its an invoice that you should have been consulted about before payment was made , they have denied you your right of appeal which was set by UK goverment in POFa 2012

Firstly, it is nor a fine, it is a disputed claim for damages for an alleged breach of contract.   It is only owed if a judge says so.

Secondly you should not have to pay it unless so ordered by a judge, which is unlikely given that most/all of these PPCs are scammers operating just within the law...

Thirdly, I disagree with Mitzy  and agree with Blackdog, it is very unlikely that you are contractually bound to re-imburse your employer..  I very much doubt that Mitzy "knows how these things work"

Its important that you let us see the paperwork from your company relating to the use of the vehicle, that is the terms and conditions.
As you have probably guessed private parking charges are not fines, or penalty's
Another matter of importance is that you must not refer to private parking tickets as fines or penalty's when dealing with the lease company/employer.

So what are the exact terms and conditions for the use of the vehicle?? without knowing those we are urinating in the wind
