Personally I don't think it matters if they leave or retract the offer. My brother was in a similar situation, seller said they would get back to them by the end of the week but kept adding a week. He continued looking but wasn't finding anything he liked as much as the first house. Come the end of the month (just shy of 4 weeks of offer) the sellers come back and say they would be prepared to accept his offer, he responded with a lower offer which they accepted that day. I think they are waiting for high offers before accepting which could be driven by many viewings, it sound like other offers have been placed with no comms back and that's why the EA is saying keep looking. If you really want the house tell the EA you need an answer ASAP otherwise you will reduce your offer or place an offer on a similar property. Make them fear losing a buyer! Good luck.0
