Bulb is not bright

I am at my wits end with my energy supplier Bulb. For the last year I have been in discussion about my bill as they add hundreds on each month and the debt was almost £1000. I am trying to switch to another supplier. i paid the £1000 on my credit card so my account was zero, but Bulb still blocked the switch and added another 170.34 onto my account plus took my direct debit of 89.00. I cannot see a way out of this as they keep adding hundreds onto my account.  I said the meters must be faulty and i must be energising the entire street at those costs and Bulb said i would have to pay them £200 for a engineer to come and look at them, they then offered me £50 goodwill which would come off the £1000, so it wasn't goodwill at all.  unbelievable This must be illegal what they doing, can someone please suggest anything. HELP!

Please give us details of the meter reads that you are giving Bulb. A photo of the meter will help.

Is this electricity or gas     Very easy to misread meters - watch out for the decimal point !!!!!!!!!   and ignore figures after th decimal point.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Is your meter reading the same as what is on your bill.  Are your bills all estimates, E after numbers, Do you read and supply a meter reading every month.

    Are you all electric?  :s

What was your reading a year ago and what is it now. What tariff / rate are you on?

Post photo of meter with reading.
