From putting money into bonds how long do I need to wait to withdraw?  Deposited 31st Jan- still not letting me remove any.

There is a note at the top of this page that they are currently busier than usual and may take up to 2 weeks to pay you:

  • I think it's due to not being cleared funds.  but thought by now it would be.   Put in more than I should stupidly for this month

It takes a week for debit card deposits to clear, and at least 3 days for bank transfers. This is described in the product summary documents. You can only withdraw cleared funds.

That only applies to withdrawals requested by post or phone. Online withdrawals arrive the working day after requesting them. The OP‘s issue is due to the funds not having cleared yet.

Is it best to set up a direct debit each month?  I aim to put £1,000 pm each month.   Savings accounts I give up!  Rather just pile all my savings into one platform than looking around for pittance.
    thanks

It‘s not a Direct Debit you are looking for, but a Standing Order (from your current account to your respective NS&I account). You can do this if you like, but it makes no difference to the clearing time.
