Canon My Image Garden - scan greyed out

I have a Windows 10 laptop, and I've downloaded My Image Garden as I want to scan some documents on my Pixma MG7150. This worked very well on my Win 10 desktop previously.

The download was successful, but I can't click the 'scan' icon as it's greyed out. I've tried searching online for solutions, but can't find anything that I think would help. I've run the compatibility checker, but that doesn't seem to help either.  I'm stuck!

Any suggestions?  Or are there any other ways to use a modern Win 10 laptop to scan?

I use the Canon IJ Scan Utility which seems to work well - I could never make the Image Garden thing work either

If you've only installed My Image Garden and not the Full Driver and Software Package (which includes it) then you may need to additionally install the driver  from the Canon support site.

Thanks, I'll look into this. My Image Garden always worked well for me on my previous computer.

I had a look at this page previously, but couldn't see what drivers I needed!

I've had another look, and just clicked the 'download' button, so now I can scan! Thanks very much, problem solved.
