VLC Issue.

I run VLC on an android phone with music on an SD card. I added a couple of new albums and when the card was put back in the phone a number of the albums were missing artwork that was previously displayed.
I have put the card card back into a laptop running MP3TAG and corrected any artwork, however it's still missing on the phone.
Any ideas what else to try?
