My current Avro tariff simple and superflow is going to end in February
SC is 14 pence per day per fuel
Price per Kw is Gas 2.35 pence/Elec 12.725
Their suggested switch is much more expensive.
It seems like everyone has increased their SC quite a bit.
I have dumb meters. I'm just wondering whether a better option would be to weather it on a variable tariff for a few months and see what happens?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Just bung your annual kWh consumption from actual meter readings into Citizens Advice and 'Which? Switch' and see what comes up.  Don't forget to check whether separate suppliers are cheaper.

Decision is up to you.  Prices have changed a lot in the last year.  Variable may be slightly cheaper now but will almost certainly go up.  Depends how much you value a fix.  If prices continued to rise and ultimately go over the level across the board that you've fixed at, you're quids in.  If they fall, you're out of favour, but in that situation it may be worth moving anyway subject to any early exit fees.
