Morning all, we had snow for most of yesterday and it's hanging around in places, probably waiting for another dumping. It's dry at present but the sky looks snowy, but I hope it doesn't come tonight as I have 2 deliveries tomorrow, a sm one and a fruit box. Never ordered a box before so I hope it's good (value and quality), it's from a local fruit and veg shop ( DD has ordered a fruit and veg ) seems that a lot of small local shops are having to deliver because of this pandemic.Today I'll have to venture outside to the bird feeder as it's almost empty again and also to put my recycling boxes out which I missed last week. This afternoon will be spent in the kitchen cooking a cottage pie and some sort of cake, maybe a victoria sponge. Some will be eaten for tea and some will be taken up to Dad tomorrow.Nothing else to report for today, so I'll love you and leave you.dp1 hope the hospital appointment and all the travelling goes well.Thinking of all those struggling or any poorly ones.Take care all, stay safe and well.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11

Morning everyone,Just popping in to say thanks for all the get well wishes - It's certainly knocked us for 6, all we are doing is resting, & nodding off with a bit of reading, then more sleeping. Being older it's certainly affected us more than DSons. I don't feel like eating anything, it doesn't help with the taste being affected. Still I might shift some weight off, lets look on the bright side.RedRuby, I hope you get some help arranging the funeral. Hugs to you all.Looks a nice bright day outside, lots of birds twittering round the bird table.Take care all xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. I'm back from my travels, teeth scrubbed, parcels collected, old flour dumped and laptop taken for diagnosis. Seems that the machine is also well past its BB date
the major problem being that the case has two severe cracks which can only get worse. The laptop is about five years old so owes me nothing so I can't complain too much!
DP - take care on that long journey.8
