Annoyed with Amazon Item never arrived

Options
I ordered a couple of items 2 weeks ago from Amazon. An Xbox game and a Dora DVD. I was expecting it to take a couple of weeks as did the last item I ordered from them but today I got an email telling me the money has been refunded.

I went to my account page and it says that the items were returned but that is stupid because I never even received them. I have been here every day waiting for them and now I have to start all over a again!!!

Oh and does anyone know the situation if part of the payment was by gift voucher? will they just refund it all to my credit card??

I haven't had a reply from them yet

UPDATE: - So the order was returned to them by TNT as undelivered. I am so mad. I have practically been here all the time apart from a couple of hours each morning. Why don't they leave a card so I can phone up and arrange alternate delivery times?
Now Should I make a complaint to TNT directly about this?

The amount was refunded partly to my CC and partly back into my account as gift voucher balance. I have been able to re-order part of the order but the Xbox game I ordered doesn't seem to be available anymore.

Yesterday my son discovered a parcel from Amazon totally hidden behind some bricks next to our garage door. It had obviously been there for a few days as it was totally soaked and the books inside were ruined.
I have now had to go through the hassle of sending it back. Obviously can't use the original packaging.
As I work from home I am usually in - but they didn't leave a card or anything. I don't know who tried to deliver it as the order page just says a SuperSaver carrier. The outside of the package looks like it says both TNT and Royal Mail.
Amazon say replacements have been sent so they had better make sure they are here soon.
