E: 03/02 Win a luxury break for two at The Mitre Hampton Court
Sunday Times Where Was I? competition
The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, at The Mitre Hampton Court, a grade II listed boutique hotel on the bank of the Thames next to Hampton Court Palace. Dating from 1665, the building originally provided overflow accommodation for the guests of Charles II. After a refit, it has reopened as a luxury inn, complete with 36 individual rooms and nearly 2,000 acres of public parkland on its doorstep. Expect vivacious decor, bespoke toiletries and plenty of eye-catching features — from sunny window seats to the copper bathtub in the Catherine Parr Suite. There are two restaurants: the all-day Coppernose café and wine bar and the more formal 1665 brasserie. One dinner for two at 1665, excluding drinks, and an afternoon tea are both included in the prize, which must be taken before December 20, 2021, subject to availability and excluding July, August and public holidays.
