Skirting board heating system

Does anyone have skirting board heating like the one sold by ThermaSkirt? If so, does it work well? Do you use it with a heat pump?

Don't know about that one but my mother had a warm air system in her flat. The warm air came out of vents in the wall just above the skirtings - think it was called Dimplex. It certainly kept her large flat very warm.0

It's a thin, long flat-panel radiator - hot water or electric.
It'll give out the heat that it quotes for a specific length...
Don't underspecify. It's easier to turn a too-big rad down than to increase heat from one too small.
Comparing to a normal double-panel rad...

That's not a huge rad - 1000x600 = 1760w.
To get that heat output from the skirting boards, you'd need at least 10 linear meters - which'd cost about 10x the panel rad.

...and be more ballache to fit, with corners etc.
If t'were me, and I simply didn't like boring flat steel panel rads, you could get some nice designer cast iron ones for that money...2
