So we have offered on a property just around the corner to us. This house has a DIY timber/ upvc conservatory across the back, so not a small space. The vendors never sought planning permission for this conservatory, and where we live we dont have permitted development rights, these were removed as part of the consent to…

Hmmm, Id rather not, just in case they are on here! 😆
They still haven't accepted our offer (they are waiting for the stamp duty discussion tomorrow, so it may not all happen anyway). Lets just say the first indication of shonkiness was the use of what appeared to be decking to clad the side of the conservatory (this has since either been changed or the grooves filled in and painted).
