Virgin media closed account showing outdistancing

Hi I have been on my credit file and I still have my virgin media account showing as not updated or closed and owing money yet I made the final payment and the account was closed as far as I was concerned, I’m not getting any late marks or anything but the account hasn’t been updated since October when I left virgin.
what’s the best way of getting virgin to update my credit file and have this closed and settled as I’d have thought from October until now is enough time to update my file?

By 'outdistancing', do you mean that the account has not been updated?
If so, it's not a problem as long as the last update is accurate. Reporting is delayed currently due to circumstances.1 -
Hi yes I settled it all but the account hasn’t shown as updated since October on my credit file since I closed it.
ive has other accounts with other companies that have updated no problem in the last 3-4 months, I don’t like it showing as a short term debt still even though I’m not getting any late payment marks etc, I just want it closed on my credit file now!0 -
Then send them a letter, send them a message on twitter or email them, I suspect first 2 answers are you best options.1

I’ve just asked a question on the virgin forums so fingers crossed somone will get back to me on there, I can’t message on the virgin website as my accounts been closed so can only call on Monday but if its like last time I’ll get someone from India that barely understands my English0

Be Covid related delays. Not surprising.1

I am experiencing the same thing with Virgin only my account was closed in August. I had a final bill of £21.33 which was taken by DD as they usually did. I have never carried a balance as always paid in full by DD. But on my credit reference agencies it is showing as a balance of £21 but also not updated/ not reported since then. I think it may need a letter to chivvy them alongStarting Total in September 2019 = £38287.77
Current Total = £25534.10
33% of debt paid off so far

I had the same problem with Virgin Media. They took the final direct debit then sent me a bill for the final amount again. I ended up paying it twice to avoid your situation and they sent me it back later as a cheque.0
