Although just out of interest, I would love to hear of any case law that sets a precedent around unquantified/theoretical losses.
In the OPs situation I'd be pretty hacked off as well, I just don't think it's actionable, although IANAL...0 -
They are removing the default - you will get nothing else from them.
Honestly, save your time and effort and move on. Once the default has dropped off your file, reapply for the mortgage.
It is frustrating but there is nothing else you can do.0 -
