Boarding loft space

My house is approx 10 years old built by Bovis and the roof appears to be a standard pre-fab roof truss (looks like a W) at 600mm intervals
I know it’s not suitable for conversion (without considerable rework) but wondered if these are suitable for boarding for light storage?
I would be using loft legs at 600m centres with 18mm P5 T&G loft flooring boards. As I said, just light stuff to be stored upstairs
The plasterboard for the ceilings below are screwed to the underside of the rafters but would these be strong enough to support the weight of a person, loft board and light load?
Thanks

I'd do this without any doubts. Only for heavy items some reinforcement can be needed.

We boarded our loft which was a newbuild 30 years ago and it was fine. We also put in extra insulation. It gradually got filled with "stuff"
We moved last year and binned most of the crap we had hoarded up there. Our new loft only has xmas decorations in now.0 -
It's standard to allow 25kg/m2 for loft storage, so you should be fine.0
