    If I were looking for something higher spec I would follow a few of the guys on HUKD that find good prebuild with decent specs and components.

    Once you find something that will do the job try to match/better those with a self build.

    Depending on the games you play and how fussy you are about max graphics fps, you can get a good run out of a gaming desktop. I'm still using my £600 build from 2015.
    Streaming services can have latency issues. And you'll always be subject to the whims of the service. Prices can be increased and games can be made unavailable with little notice.
