How long for searches 2021

Nice easy question.
How long did your searches take? Recent experience only please as this winter they seem to be taking significantly longer.
I feel fortunate our mortgage was approved within 4 weeks. I’m SE and that was over Christmas too, but the searches are 5 weeks and counting. Getting frustrated now...

Assuming you mean from the local authority, it will vary greatly depending on which one you're talking about.0

My searches including local, environmental and water & drainage took 10 days to come back from the date they were requested. It does depend on where you are, some horror stories have saw 12 weeks for searches to come in.0

I'm not sure exactly when my conveyancer applied for searches, but my offer was accepted Xmas eve and they weren't in the office until after NY so I think it was Jan 4th at the earliest. I received their report and copies of the searches on Weds last week.0 -

Mine were ordered just before christmas and they've all come back last week, although I'm yet to see a report. They said that because of lockdown all the people that do the searches are working from home so they can take 3+ weeks for the local search to come back.0

Mine took 6 weeks.0

Mine we requested on the 13 January and not back yet . Our solicitor told us it would be approximately 15 business days0

The searches for our house were applied for 18th December and not expecting them back until 18th Feb so 2 months! Yet some are getting theirs in less than 2 weeks
