Not sure if this is for this forum or the Credit File forum. Anyway, I've had an old Bank of Scotland Easycash basic bank account since 2009 which I've not used for years and I assume is dormant due to not receiving a new card when the last one expired. It has never been listed on my credit files until this week when it was added to both my Experian and TransUnion files with the start date being sometime in 2009 when the account was originally opened.
Anyone know why this is the case? The balance of the account is zero and is listed as that.
