Can anyone help- Broken Beats Headphones

Sorry if I’ve posted in the wrong place but-
The right speaker in my beats wireless solo 3 sound isn’t coming out , my warranty expired 43 days ago according to the Apple man and they said I’ll have to pay to get it fixed, however as the product is faulty dont I have other rights?? The problem happened a couple months ago whilst it was still in warranty(it’s been working on and off), it’s only just now I’ve chased it up as the speaker has now completely gone. 

If not, does anyone know how to fix? When I place the headphone jack halfway sound comes out both speakers so I know the right speaker hasn’t died, but when I place the jack fully in sound just comes out the left- this happens when wireless and now also plugged in. Tried plugging into multiple devices and looked at settings, still doesn’t work.

It's a very common problem with these headphones, loads of repair videos on youtube, or simply buy a better, more reliable pair of wireless headphones.
