Are you sure you have the right terminology? the sim tray is just a piece of plastic or metal that holds the sim card. Has it physically broken? is the sin not being recognised by the phone?0
-
Sorry sim tray is fine it's like the internals of the phone has broke or something it's a Samsung galaxy a40 like mate could use phone then all of a sudden the phone will disconect the sim as if you like used the paper clip thing into the same tray0
-
Have you tried another sim?
You might get help on the Tech Stuff board0 -
Ye tried another sim I think the problem is the not the sim tray but the sim card reader inside the phone I did think of posting there but thought here would be better0
-
I meant have you tried the sim in another phone?0
-
Oh yes tried that the sim works in another phone no problems there0
-
Yes you can get an independent report for CR against the vendor .But you have had two expert investigations from far higher qualified than local phone repairers .Plus EE saying its damage .0
-
Yep that's the problem thenpnpy damage on phone is by headphone socket no were near sim tray may just have to tell mate phone dud keep as a expensive spare lol I may have not explained properly to samsumg the sim tray is fine it's the internals were sim tray is like the sim reader that has the problem0

Okay cool, but it’d be a lot easier to follow if you could use sentences and / or paragraphs. No disrespect but using ‘text speak’ on forums is rather difficult to understand4
