I was asked to state the closing date for Hurst Media competitions one day earlier, as compers who enter them on the final day are missing them and unable to enter.
What do I do?

The closing date is specified as:- Closing Date: 2021-03-03 00:00:00
00:00:00 is generally taken as being the start of a day (as against 23:59 being the end of a day).
On this basis, if the end date is 00:00:00 on 03/03, the competition ends right at the beginning of 03/03 and is not available for entry on that day. So the best end date to use, is the last day available for entering which is 02/03.

Some people may well argue that 00:00:00 is the end of the day but you can't be certain which way the comp organisers are looking at it, so for safety and certainty for End Date compers, 02/03 is the best date to use. A day too early is better than a day too late.
