I have provided 10 pages of proof of address such as p60s, private pension letters but doesn’t seem to be enough for them , I’ve emailed my council for council tax statements so hopefully that will be enough for themsourcrates said:You don’t have to jump through hoops here, there are numerous documents that contain your address, your drivers license, or any utility or phone bill.
No matter what the outcome of this, don’t be bullied into paying this debt by this company, ultimately you may have to defend a court claim for it, and let a judge decide if the debt is yours or not.

They have to give consequences, basically don't ignore letters.
However remember their investigation will take time, so you don't need to keep bombarding them with more, and they have to be non-committal until that is completed. How long ago did you first raise fraud?1 -

They have said the account is on hold until the investigation is done, so you just need to wait until you are contacted again. You have provided sufficient information, if it isn't they will let you know. If they haven't contacted you within 8 weeks, then ask for an update, but their silence is nothing to do with belief, but because an investigation will be need to carried out by the original creditor. So long as the account is on hold, there is no issue.Hampton1968 said:
