Green. Credit refund problem.

Hi
Has anyone had difficulty obtaining a refund of an accrued credit balance from Green? Before I go further this is a company that markets itself as "Green." (with a full stop) and registered as Green Supplier Limited, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, NE4 5TF.
Have been with them since Jan 2020 after recommendation from MSE club (good savings) and d/debit has overpaid every month to the sum of nearly £200 which I would like back, under the current climate it is much needed! Contacting the company using a mobile "chat" app, I provided my current meter reading and they have responded with, "Very sorry it looks like a balance issue on the account which causes a bill up to date to fail. Please could you get in touch to request a refund when you have received a new bill?".
But I have only just had the latest bill so would need to wait more than 3 weeks before I can even "ask" for my money again. They cut the chat off immediately too so I could not respond or comment. Went back on the chat and no longer get a response, which is pretty unsatisfactory.
So I am firstly asking fellow forum members if this is a popular, reputable energy supplier (Green Supplier Ltd - "Green.") and secondly, has anyone else had any trouble getting a credit refund from them?
Thanks v much for any thoughts & advice,

Your usage will be at its highest at this time of year and most of that £200 is likely to wiped out by the next bill. Understandably, they won't be very keen to refund all of it because your account is then likely to go into debit. Try asking for £100 instead. If you're desperate, you could try initiating a switch to another supplier (but with the intention cancelling within the 14-day cooling off period). Green will probably send you a 'Sorry you're leaving us - are you sure?' communication, at which point you can offer to stay if on condition that they refund part of the credit balance. But beware that this plan could backfire if the switch goes through: it could take eight weeks to get your final refund from Green, and the new suppler may take their first DD soon after you join, so your bank balance could suffer quite a big hit initially.1
