Mechanic advice.. belt idler pulley fitting

Hi, I have a Gates auxiliary belt and idler pulley kit to fit. Done plenty of belts before but not changed an idler before, ours has a squeaky sounding bearing so needs doing.
The pulley looks pre-assembled with a new bolt and I know the required torque, just wondering do these usually come fully lubricated ready to fit or do I need to get some lubrication into it first?
I tried emailing Gates but they didn't respond.
Thanks, just check anyone who has changed one before.

You just fit them; nothing else to do except use the correct torque. (well for good measure I put a little locktite blue on the thread but shouldn't be necessary).

Choose the correct Loctite spec or you might not get it off next time ,a lot of fasteners come with a dab of blue loctite on the threads when you buy themMidlandsGlory said:
