How is the best way to find my pension
I transferred my military pension over to a civilian firm back in 1991 and now I can’t find any trace of it0 -
If you post the name of your pension fund, even if it no longer exists, one of us may be able to find which fund took it over.

The company I transferred my pension to was called
equity and law life assurance ltd
if any one knows0 -
Might be worth checking with Aviva on that, The only company I could find with that particular name I could find is the AXA Equity and Law Life Assurance Society. The company merged with Sun Life in 1997 and became part of Friends Life in 2011. Which is now Aviva.
Do you truly not have any paperwork left at all, especially when it involves something so important?1 -
According to this siteEquity & Law pensions are administered by Aviva, and there is a link for enquiries.

The old AXA policies are dealt with out of the Bristol office of Aviva.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. Given the date of the transfer, it's quite possible that the relevant records for the receiving scheme could still be held on paper and are somewhere in archived storage.
What exactly do the documents say?
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -

It may well have been a S32.
