House rental whilst awaiting probate?

Personally I wouldn't.
Whilst everything could be plain sailing, probate is obtained and they buy the house, I'd be worried that their circumstances changed in the meantime, pulled out of the purchase and stopped paying rent and then left you with the headache of trying to evict them.2 -
Thanks for all the comments and advice. Fingers crossed the probate office will get their finger out and I can get this sorted. 🤞🙏2

I wish you all the very best, especially as it’s such a difficult time for you.0

I was just wondering if the probate office had replied to you at all?The owner of the house we’re buying sadly passed away last week and it’s now going to probate. I’ve been told the estate is very straightforward as there’s only the house so I’m hoping it shouldn’t take too long.Just wondered if they’d given any indication of how long it could take.0
