Old Orange debt

My credit file says I have a really old debt for Orange phone bill do I have to pay this? if so where do I go to pay it?

    Define "really old", and has anybody contacted you about it?

    If it's an Orange debt then it must either be statute barred now, or will be very soon. (The Orange brand ceased to exist in Feb 2015 according to Wiki). However it might be best if you explain exactly what type of record it is on your credit file. (If it's a CCJ then this will probably be approaching the time limit for it to drop off your file anyway).

    If you want to pay it, you'd need to contact EE, who own the brand. It's not complulsory.
