Utility Point charged me twice

Options
I switched to Utility Point last November and after two direct debits they said they wanted to increase the payment from January. No problem with that, but in January they not only increased the payment but took it twice. I immediately rang and was told a refund would take up to 10 days (!). The ten days are up. Still no refund or contact of any kind, let alone an apology. I've just emailed and am on the verge of going to OFCOM. I want to switch without being charged for early termination, as I consider them in breach of contract.
Be warned - I would avoid this company.

Just contact your bank and will be refunded under the dd guarantee.

You would need to go to the Ombudsman.  Ofcom does not regulate energy, that's Ofgem.  But getting the bank to reverse the DD is far easier.
