Myself and a few other ex SVS Securities customers have had problems with getting our investments back. Would my shares be protected from theft or is this a real threat as I don't get any replies to calls or emails and I'm starting to feel I may be being cheated.

There's a massive existing thread relating to the collapse of SVS, the resultant transfer of the investments to ITI and the subsequent issues in accessing these, so it would probably be worth reading similar experiences there and posting on that one if you have any residual questions:

ITI Capital is one of the worst providers with absurd systems. FOr cash withdrawl you requires to email them a form with sensitive data such as passport and bank statements.
Yes email - the most insecure of mediums for the most sensitive of data. You have to do this everytime you need to withdraw cash.
Everything is online except taking your money out. Deliberately made obstuse and insecure,. I am registering this with the Ombudsman as this is beyond belief in these says when sophisticated scamming is rife.0
