Amazon purchase

Hi there,
Long story somewhat shortened.
In april I purchased a table and 6 chairs from amazon via a 3rd party seller. I have had multiple issues with this product but the main issue is in September a chair broke. Since September I have been in touch with amazon, the seller and the manufacturer with no suitable resolve. Since then another chair has broken. I have tried with the bank also for a refund as A) it's broken and other cosmetic issues and B) now I have a product that doesnt serve it's intended purpose.
In hindsight I should have really thought about my purchase. What can I do? Amazon refuse to help as it was a 3rd party seller, the seller continues to ignore warnings from amazon and messages from myself. The manufacturer  has not responded to my email. And my bank can't help.

Your wording is the wrong way round... your bought it from a 3rd party seller via Amazon.

Your statutory rights are with the seller, if you look at the invoice in your Amazon account it will give their full details such as their address. It may well inform your decision of what to do next if they are based in the UK or not.

If they are ignoring you and you cannot get hold of them then the best option is a letter before action posted to the seller.
  • As above, you need to treat this the same as a purchase through eBay etc - Amazon only provide the sales platform, the sale itself is nothing to do with them.
  • Thanks, the seller has since closed their account, and I'm unable to find any details.
    What can I do now?
'Letter before action' could you clarify this please.
I'd really appreciate  so e advice on next steps
