You should ask the investigator  to add
"I/we believe I/we were overcharged interest on this loan and in light of the. recent settlements on these loans and for the very same reasons as mine/ours would like the offer already made to be looked at again.

Sorry if you have already done this, I am helping a lot of people but the answers are all the same.

    Hi Amersall

I have been in touch with the Ombudsman and they have replied ' Can you confirm the date of the event that you are complaining about ' Would they mean... when rhe account was opened ? Or when I sent the complaint to Elderbridge ? I've replied back asking the question but it still does not make sense ..

    Thankyou

Tell them, from the start of the loan, but you only knew about the interest a couple of weeks before you made the complaint to Elderbridge, who didn't respond ...covers all bases then 😊

Hi there , so I have received a reply from the Ombudsman to say my complaint will now be passed to a caseworker for review. For anyone thinking of complaining there may be a 4 month time frame for a caseworker to contact me. In the meantime I have to make notes re why I am wanting to make a complaint etc ... shall I keep this brief Amersall and just say what you said initially or shall I add anymore detail ? Thankyou

Just keep to what you have already said.
Four months is not long a wait trust me! Especially with this company 😁

Thankyou again Amersall your help is much appreciated .
  • I am so glad I found this thread as Elderbridge are @$$@$#!!!

I've sent them an email but the only email address I could find was their customer service one.

Is this the correct email address to use? Asking as sent an email a week ago and not even an acknowledgement of the email I sent.

I guess this is what I should expect. Can I start counting the days down or do I need to wait for a reply?

    Thanks so much.

That's the correct one. Call them and ask if they have your email. If they say no then make the complaint with them on the phone .
If you hear nothing after 8 weeks then make a complaint to FOS
