Double Glazing Handle Not Opening Window

I've a long window with two popper? windows that open out the way. (Push button, turn & push).
When I go to open the handle just spins without any tension and goes beyond the 90° point, as if it's not catching the lock mechanism.
Anyone have any suggestions to repair DIY?
Thanks

Hi,
Who manufactured your window?
I had a fault with handle on my window. I contacted the manufacturer Anglian and they apologised, due to Covid they could not send an engineer. They sent me a replacement handle FoC and a link to a video showing how to DIY.
If my window had been more than 20 years old, I might have been asked to pay for the handle."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

I'm unsure who the manufacturer is or how old the windows are as we moved into the house over 3yrs ago.

We had a problem a few years ago with the lock on a double glazed window. 'Googled' the problem and found a You Tube video on how to fix. Sorted in five minutes.
Try to 'google' and find possible You Tube video for your problem.1 -
I have had this issue. For me it was due to the 'handle rod' inside the handle moved slightly so it no longer connected to the handle. To fix I unscrewed the handle on the window pushed the rod - it moved a few mm, put handle back, now works fine. Took longer to find my screwdriver than it did to fix.YNWA

Thanks for your help. Thought Id respond in the event someone reads this further down the line.
Simply remove the screw visible and the other covered by the cap, adjusting the rod ensuring nothing had fractured or worn away then put back together has seemed to fixed the issue.
