The OP did answer your question about 10 posts ago. You have missed it. This is boardering on bullying, when you are actually in the wrong. An apology is in order.
No the OP is not in Scotland
You know, it is not bordering on bullying, non of us bully, there is no point. Umkomaas just wants answers, he is not a bully,  With the sheer number of threads and posts to each thread it is no wonder certain posts get missed.
    It's normally called E&OE ....
Yeah, I thought it a really judgemental comment.  Always room for another apology!
Of course, I am sorry I missed that particular post. The good news is that the OP has our full support .. 100%
No, I wasn't aiming that at you @beamerguy, it was directed towards the gratuitous remark made by the poster who was accusing me of bullying.  Perhaps he'll take some further interest in this thread, and the OP's plight, and offer some really helpful advice to her?
Right OK, but I did miss that post ...... probably because me and my german shepherd dog are busy explaining to the newbies about those who use "bailiffs" to scare people
The GSD got very close with the postman one day, knocked him off his bike, that cost me a few pints down the pub

So.. yes I know this is tedious 🤣 but surely they can't know who was driving the vehicle?? 🤷‍♂️
  • It looks like DCBL are busy going over old records. I had a fine from UKPC April 2016 which I ignored all the various letters, not heard anything for years. Today a letter from Debt Collection Bailiffs Limited demanding payment within 14 days.

Debt collector letter - ignorable. Please come back on a new thread of your own should you receive a Letter Of/Before Claim, or a formal court claim (N1) from the Northampton CCBC.

Even though it's some 5 years on, why not complain to the landowner and see if they will assist in getting you a cancellation - it has worked in the past.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Please let me know how you get on as your case sounds identical to mine - thank you 👍

Look guys, it's only DCBL following the same route as the others.
All this bailiff rubbish is just them living off their soap rubbish TV programme.

Of course they won't tell you how they were fined £10k

    How do you prove anything?

Last time. Are you in Scotland, yes or no. It might help you!
I am based in Scotland and have recently received a DCBL limited letter today saying I have 14 days to pay or they will recommend commencement of legal action. How does being in Scotland change this? What do I need to do?

    Thanks
