Wow 2 in one day.  Troubled times ahead for sure.  410,000 will now need an Ofgem appointed SOLR (360K GNE and 50K Simplicity according to Ofgem figures)

Green Network Energy has now ceased trading, and I am not surprised. I had a dispute with them in 2019, over the Warm Home Discount that they didn't apply to the account. I am having the same issue in 2020 and although they have agreed that I am entitled to it, the £140 hasn't been applied to the account. They don't do this until March. The problem is I have moved suppliers, due to all the issues with GNE, but my GNE account isn't showing the credit.

There must be hundreds of other customers of GNE who are entitled to the £140, and whose accounts are NOT showing this credit. This is money that the Government pays to the supplier, but who is going to credit the money now? The department who manages this payment for the Government closes on March 31st 2021, and keeps no records for the year 2020, so you cannot get proof of entitlement our find out if the money was paid to GNE.

Does anyone have any information on this please?

Really? I looked into how the scheme is funded and as far as I can work out, the suppliers have to foot the bill. I can't find anything that says it is funded from the Consolidated Fund.
