Maybe it was like the chap with the iMac. "Couldn't possibly refuse to accept itGeorge_Michael said:As a bathroom suite couldn't be posted through the letterbox and as it's probably packed in fairly bulky boxes, I would hazard a guess that the delivery people wouldn't simply leave it on the doorstep so this begs the question. If the OP was at home when the delivery was made, why was it even accepted?
....thinks for a bit...Can I keep it?

They must have dropped it through your letterbox while you were at work? Why would anyone accept a delivery of such size if it had been cancelled? A simple - sorry we cancelled it, please take it back - should have been sufficient. But now that you do have it - do you still need a bathroom? If so - call them and pay for it.2

Because they were under the mistaken belief that goods from order that you cancelled but still turn up are "unsolicited" and you get to keep them?cymruchris said:They must have dropped it through your letterbox while you were at work? Why would anyone accept a delivery of such size if it had been cancelled? Maybe OP is struggling to clamber over a boxed bathroom suite to get to their PC?1

Are you that morally bankrupt that you even have to ask?
Let them know, be a decent human being - but it's fair to ask them to only collect when convenient (that doesn't mean making up lots of times you can't be in for collection to try and keep it...)2 -
I remember those: I think we either kept & used them, or just chucked them in the recycling collectionpowerful_Rogue said:Think of the old Christmas cards that used to be sent out with the "Pay £10 to keep, or post them back to us"
