  • Good news, out of interest which bank have you gone with? I am currently with NatWest and have been for over 15 years, never had any problems at all.
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

I've now got a foundation account with NatWest, hopefully it's a much better experience.
When I was waiting in the TSB Branch yesterday, I was checking out the customer satisfaction poster that they had displayed, TSB iirc were ranked 18th. I should really have checked that out before going with them. Lessons learned haha

I too have a ‘Foundation Account’. I was originally on their Advantage Gold Reward account but when I entered in to my IVA they swiftly downgraded all my current accounts to the foundation account. At first I found them quite restrictive, with no contactless and no Apple Pay or pre-authorisation ability, but during Covid last year they have introduced contactless and the ability to add card to Apple Pay / Google Pay.

they have updated their app considerably over the years and I find it incredibly user friendly and comprehensive.

i don’t ever recall complaining to NatWest at all in the 15+ years with them, I also haven’t physically been in to one of their branches for many years, I do not wish to I thoroughly enjoy the comfort of Internet / app banking.

good luck with your journey, it gets easier as time goes on.
